 General Information

Leafield was originally called "Hillcrest" and "Rose Cottage" is part of the original Guest House called "Gordon's Guest Home". Built in the early 1900's, the bush-fires of the early 60's destroyed most of the Guest House. What remained was restored and has now become "Rose Cottage".

 

There are now three (3) fully self-contained Cottages on the 10 acres surrounded by lovely sweeping gardens and with picturesque views over the Valley.

 

Leafield Cottages won the RACV 1999 Award of Excellence.

 

About the Cottages:

 

Sage and Hanaby Cottages- have a 4 1/2 Star Rating. Open plan Cottage accommodating 2 people.

 

Rose Cottage- has a 4 Star Rating.Old World Style Cottage, with two double bedrooms, separate lounge and kitchen.

 

Features of Leafield:

 

All Cottages have Wood Fires, Electric Blankets, Colour TV's, Stereo with Easy Listening Music as well as a selection of reading material.
