Heimat Chalets - self-contained holiday accommodation for the entire family.
Two modern and stylish self-contained chalets and luxury caravan ensuite sites set on picturesque farmland in the heart of the Derwent Valley. A private and secluded holiday retreat - yet easy travelling to almost anywhere!
Heimat is the Swiss/German word for “homeland” and that is exactly how hosts Maxine and Henry Stauffer want you to feel whilst staying in one of their chalets - at home. Equally suitable for both couples and families with children, Heimat offers absolute peace and relaxation in a luxury (but reasonably priced) holiday chalet, amongst contented farm animals and a redcurrant orchard on a 40ha (100ac) property located in the picturesque Derwent Valley.
Heimat offers crisp country air, spectacular sweeping vistas, and a chance to experience the sounds of silence. As well as the cattle and sheep, there are native animals and abundant birdlife. In the evening you may experience glorious sunsets fading to a starlit sky under the Southern Cross.
