General Information
Situated in the heart of the McLaren Vale wine region, on more than 3 acres, "Ashcroft" offers uninterrupted views across to the magical Willunga Hills.
Each guest room in our spacious air-conditioned home contains an ensuite bathroom with overhead heaters and 'Hollywood' lighting; queen and/or twin beds, TV, clock radio, coffee and tea-making facilities, bar fridge, electric blanket, hair-dryer, and its own intimate private terrace complete with umbrella, table and chairs.
One bedroom has been specially designed to cater for guests with physical disabilities, with detachable shower heads, hand-rails and plenty of room for manouvering wheelchairs.
Families with children are especially welcome, however we regret that we are unable to accommodate pets.
We pride ourselves on providing a fully hosted English style breakfast, which is included in the room rate. Only free range eggs, and extra virgin cold pressed olive oil are used in our cooking. See our Breakfast Menu for more Sumptuous details.
There are many and varied activities to be enjoyed whilst staying at 'Ashcroft': the main ones of course are to sample wines from the internationally renowned cellars that surround us, and eat at the many fine restaurants in the area.
Other pursuits that may be undertaken are cycling along the picturesque, designated cycle paths through the valley vineyards and bush-walking. And the wide sandy beaches of the Fleurieu Peninsula and Maslin and Sellicks Beaches are only a few minutes drive away.
This is in the true traditional style of bed and breakfast homestays. Each room is named after a female family member: - and the tariffs are for 2 people for 1 night including a full English or Continental hosted breakfast.
