Welcome to the tranquil world of 'springers Romantic Chalets'. Our aim is to offer you a haven of privacy in the rainforest where you can just relax, or revitalise yourselves after exploring the surrounding attractions of Springbrook Mountain.
Springers is a 15 acre property, high up on Springbrook Mountain, in the Gold Coast hinterland (approx 1000 metres above sea level). It is protected on the west and south by the crests of ridges. To the north there are views across the plateau and on clear days the Gold Coast and Stradbroke Island glitter in sunlight, or twinkle like extra stars at night.
The Chalets are nestled in tiny natural clearings where forest giants have fallen over the years. These clearings have filled with vines as the trees have rotted, and we have taken pains to clear the minimum of undergrowth so each chalet has a private outlook from the spa and the covered deck into a pristine area of rainforest to be enjoyed by you alone on your stay. Chalets are spread across the half kilometer width of the property to give maximum privacy.
The Chalets are purpose built for couples to relax and enjoy each other. Some have saunas included in their design, to bring a level of indulgence to your stay that is rarely experienced.
Each includes a comfortable queen sized bed complete with warm snugly doona, facing a glass fronted easily lit fireplace to keep you warm on a cool winter's night. The chalets sumptuous bathroom overlooks the rainforest and has a roomy double shower as well as a luxurious double spa. Gold taps and fittings sparkle and reflect the quality fittings.
Fill the spa with the pure spring water that's pumped from 180 feet beneath solid basalt and relax in the spa to ease tired muscles after a day spent walking the rainforest paths.
All towels and linen are provided. A compact kitchen complete with microwave, electric frypan, refrigerator, and all cooking utensils, gives you the options of preparing your own meals, or allowing the languid afternoon to stretch into evening as you sip a chilled glass of champagne beside a sizzling BBQ on the spacious deck.
Our Chalets are specially built to afford you an intimate and luxurious stay in the rainforest.
Some are tucked away in secret glades of dappled sunlight or dripping cool leaves, while others look out over the Springbrook Plateau with distant ocean and Gold Coast views through the trees..
All have been carefully designed to bring you a level of pampering and privacy that is unique to 'springers'. They feature double hydro spas and double showers to be enjoyed as a couple after a hard days hiking in the rainforest.
Four Chalets have saunas.
There are glass fronted fireplaces to curl up in front of with a glass of wine, while you prepare a snack in the efficient little kitchenette ,or grill a steak on the gasfired barbeque out on your own private deck.
Each Chalet is individually decorated in different colours and themes with hardwood timber floors to add a warm indulgence to your stay.
Individual Chalets to suit your needs: We were inspired by the colours, textures and patterns of our rainforest world at springers when we chose the décor and themes for our chalets.
We wanted our guests to experience the rainforest but also to have their visit enhanced with a fun and fantasy filled romantic stay. Hopefully the worlds we have created indoors will add to the adventure of a visit here.
