Our Franco-Australian B&B at Gilston Retreat provides you with superb breakfasts of homemade breads and jams, and weekend specials of appetising French crepes or omelettes a la francaise which can be enjoyed on the deck with bushland views.
Your host is a French cook from southern France and offers you gourmet menus if you wish to dine-in in the evenings. Aussie, Asian and vegetarian menus are also available.
Your Aussie hostess is a qualified therapeutic masseuse and can treat you to a relaxing massage.
You have the opportunity of taking French language and/or cooking classes at our B&B. Groups of up to 10 are welcome.
Our B&B is conveniently located within thirty minutes of beaches, theme parks, wildlife sanctuaries, outstanding golf courses, national parks and great shopping centres.
You will find the beautifully decorated bedrooms very homely and inviting as well as our guest lounge with fireplace and cable TV. We offer a variety of interesting activities including badminton, table tennis, pool and thereapeutic massage. French Provincial cooking lessons and French language lessons are available.
