Hidden away in a peaceful location with views to the Pacific Ocean, and located on the rim of an ancient volcano in the QLD/NSW border ranges, our one and two bedroom rainforest cabins feature spectacular views over the Currumbin Valley.
Set in the lushly forested hills in the Gold Coast hinterland, wake up to the sounds of whip birds and kookaburras as the morning mists rise over the rainforests.
Hanging Rock Chalets is ideal for a midweek or weekend getaway. Great for families or couples wanting a rainforest experience, while still being close to all the action and attractions of the Gold Coast, including theme parks.
Nature enthusiasts will enjoy the walking tracks and viewing areas through-out the property. Nearby National Parks and Gold Coast beaches are within 20 minutes drive.
End the day with a sundowner on the verandah, as you listen to the cicadas evening chorus accompanying magic sunsets.
At Hanging Rock Chalets you can self cater in our self contained cottages, spoil yourself with our self cook dinner packages, or choose from Gold Coast and Murwillumbah eateries or restaurants.
Standard inclusions for each Chalet:
- Kitchenette with cooktop/ovenette, microwave and refrigerator, a barbeque
- Cooking and dining utensils
- All linen provided including doonas (comforters, eiderdowns, duvets) and bath towels
- Kitchen and laundry needs

- Heaters for winter and fans for summer
- Insect sceened windows
- Reading matter on local history and wildlife
- Board games and library of novels
- The proprietors also provide a babysitting service on site, to allow Mum and Dad some free time!
