Modern Guesthouse with ensuited rooms from single to family located midway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast in the Redlands District.
Kick your shoes off at the front door, and step into a luxurious guesthouse set in the treetops and featuring spacious open plan design and beautiful timber floors throughout. Relax and feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Set on 20 hectares of natural Australian bush land on the crest of Mount Cotton; enjoy tranquillity, peace and quiet. Your large and very comfortable rooms are beautifully furnished with quality fittings and linen and fluffy pillows,dressing gowns and doonahs - a perfect place to escape and rejuvenate or spend some very special time with a very special someone.
Bed and Breakfast
Imagine waking up to the sun rising over Mt Cotton, the smell of a scrumptious breakfast on your private balcony, the peace broken only by the sounds of bird calls. You might prefer to take your huge breakfast on the main deck overlooking the gully and gardens below.
Breakfast typically includes:
* Selection of cereals
* Fresh fruit platter or freshly made fruit salad with creamy yoghurt
* Generous cooked breakfast of chipolata sausages, lamb chops, sautéed mushrooms, fresh home grown
eggs, grilled tomatoes. Eggs Benedict is a house specialty.
* Hot toast with homemade preserves and jams.
* Fresh juice, plunger coffee and selection of black, green and herbal teas.
Rates quoted are based on two people and include port and chocolates, as well as a full country breakfast each morning including: cereals, fruit platter, fresh bread and jams, hot selection including our own fresh eggs, bacon, lamb chops, chipolata and beef sausages, tomatoes and mushrooms.
Breakfast is served on the main deck (or enjoy it on your private deck for an extra $20) overlooking the bush and gardens. We also include afternoon tea with hand made biscuits or cakes or an antipasto plate on your arrival.
The 'Stradbroke' Premier Room - spoil yourself.
Our best room is the Stradbroke Room which has a King size bed, private deck overlooking the bush and private ensuite. The room includes ceiling fan, electric blanket, oil heater and heated towel rail.
This room is ideal for couples sharing their wedding night or honeymoon and is perfect for that special celebration or anniversary.
Casbah' Room
The Casbah Room is decorated in Middle Eastern theme and has Queen size bed, private bathroom with bath & heated towel rail, private balcony and walk-in-robe.
If required the adjoining Sabah Room with timber and cane double day bed and a distinctive Balinese theme can be booked together with the Casbah for family/friends only for an extra $80.
'Zen' Deluxe Room
The large Zen room reflects Japanese and Asian influences and has King size bed with electric blankets, ceiling fan, oil heater and separate private ensuite. The room features an antique sideboard and Asian artefacts.
'Gold Coast' Standard Suite
The 'Gold Coast' suite consists of 2 bedrooms with shared bathroom between. One room has a comfortable Queen sized bed, single bunk set into the wall and small patio. The other large room has two singles & two single bunk beds set into the wall, all with electric blankets. Great for two or three couples sharing or for family groups.
Both rooms access a common television/ lounge room and share a small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.
Garden’ and 'Fernery' Standard Rooms
We have 2 standard but very comfortable rooms available. The Garden Room with a Queen sized bed and an in-wall single bunk bed has private bathroom facilities, and looks out over the garden areas.
