General Information
Heritage-listed accommodation (circa 1885) - handy to the CBD, 'Gabba Cricket Ground and South Bank.
Comfortable beds, library/TV/DVD lounge, fully equipped kitchen and garden courtyard make this a tranquil oasis in the heart of one of Brisbane's most historic precincts.
Rooms include master bedroom with queen size bed, ensuite and private verandah; easy-access bedroom with double bed, wood panelling and cedar fireplace plus rooms furnished with twin single beds.
The lodge is double-glazed and air-conditioned. Continental breakfast is complimentary. The kitchen is equipped with a Miele oven, Bosch cooktop, Kleenmaid dishwasher and LG microwave.
French doors lead from the kitchen to a leafy courtyard. The lodge offers off-street space for one car.
More parking is available in the side street. The Lodge is approx minute's walk from the Kangaroo Point cliffs lookout in River Terrace...and about the same distance from the Brisbane River Parklands.
Shops and restaurants of the CBD can be reached either by cross-river ferry or by walking along the river and across the Goodwill pedestrian bridge.
Rock climbers and abseiling enthusiasts are drawn to the precipitous cliffs most afternoons and evenings. The River Parklands below attract family groups for barbeques.
