Surfers Paradise
Surfers Paradise. Travel writers who have been to the furthest, darkest corners of the globe seem to hate the place because it is very commercial and gets very busy during peak holiday periods (Christmas and Easter), but it is an incredibly beautiful, safe, happy city with perfect weather and unlike many resort towns around the world, tourists are welcomed with big open arms, big Queensland smiles and big Queensland sunshine.
